 What is Choice Cars App For?

Q. Who is Choice Cars?

A. Choice Cars is a London Minicabs Company based in Wembley and has Airport offices located at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton mainly for Airport Transfer services. Our System has Job bidding platform designed to help driver’s unfair distribution of jobs from Minicab Office controllers. The Choice Cars Applications supports – London Airport Transfers Services and Towns to Cities Cab Rides-

Q. Does Choice Cars Driver App Have Online and Offline mode?

A. Yes, Drivers can come online whenever they wish to become available for work and then use the offline mode when they are busy.

Q. What is my App Pin Number?

A. Your App Pin Code is your secret login pin that allows you to log in. Your PIN number will be sent to you after your registration.

Q. Can I receive jobs on App without full registration?

A. No, Your App needs to be activated to receive jobs. We require your valid PCO and Vehicle documents for registration before activation.

Q. Can I view my job history?

A. Yes, but you need to be activated first and must do at least one job to view the history.

Q. Is the App downloadable from all stores?

A. No, you can only download Choice Cars Drivers App when we send you a special link after registration.

 About Registering to Choose Rides Drivers App

Q. Who can join Choice Rides Drivers Platform?

A. Only the London PCO Licensed Private Hire Drivers are eligible to join Choice platform. Drivers are required to have valid PCO drivers’ licences including their vehicle and insurance documents to register.

Q. How long does it take to join?

A. Drivers can start immediately they have been registered and attended an induction at any of our operating centres. This can take few hours to achieve.

Q. How can I register to join?

A. To join, you need to register onsite - https://choiceminicabs.com/become-driver and  upload all your Valid Drivers and Vehicle documents required by PCO from the dash board.

Q. What documents are required to register?

A. You are required to provide the following:

For Driver

Drivers Licence/Drivers PCO Licences./Your Photo/NI Number

For Vehicle

Car registration Doc (V5)/Insurance/Vehicle PCO/MOT

Q. Do I have to attend an interview?

A. Yes. You should be able to book a training date during registration.

Q. Do I have to pay any deposit before joining?

A. Yes, a refundable deposit ranging from £50 - £300 may be required to join depending on the earning limit you have chosen to start with. A termination notice is required to get full refund.  Refund takes 4 weeks to hit your bank account from the day you give us notice.

Q. Why must I pay a deposit?

A. Due to the fact that most of our riders are cash passengers and based on our past experiences with drivers not paying their enormously accumulated commission, we will hold on onto the deposit if that becomes the situation.

Q. Can I terminate my service with you anytime?

A. Yes you can terminate your service whenever you which to stop using our application

Q. How can I terminate my service with you?

A. You are required to send us a termination date notice by email.

Q. When can I get refund on my deposit after termination?

A. Refund on credit balance takes 4 weeks to process from your termination date.

Q. How will I collect it?

A. That will be paid to your bank accounts by BAGS

About the Shift Pattern.

Q. What hours can I work?

A. Choice Cars has 2 types work platform which are A) the Airport Platform and B) Local Minicabs anywhere in London. Both offer 24hr open shift pattern. You are free to join both if you wish and can sign in and out to work on any of the platforms and bid for jobs from your App anytime.

Q. Is there a queuing system to get jobs?

A. Queuing system is available when you sign and become available in some locations and at Airports. But bidding for Airport jobs do not require any queue. System uses first finger driver to offer job bidding. The nearest driver will get ASAP jobs 1-2 miles away from him if required.

Q. Can I do part time work?

A. Yes, you can even work for other companies and still bid or cover jobs from our platform to make extra income and reduce unwanted dead mileage every day.

Q. How many jobs can I do in a week if am full time?

A. It totally depends on your ability to work. Fulltime drivers averagely cover up to 3 Airport and 4 hotel jobs a day.

Q. Are there any maximum earnings in a week?

A. Yes, the system will not allow you to earn more than £1650 a week

Q. Can I take some days off work?

A. Of course, you are fully self-employed drivers. We only require you to notify us by sending email

Q. Can I leave anytime if am not happy?

A. Yes, we have a minimum joining period of 5 weeks. To leave, you have to send notice to drivers@choiceminicabs.co.uk

About Payments and Charges

Q. Do you have a rent or commission-based charges?

A. We have only commission-based charges-but there is £10 weekly administrative charge

Q. Do I get charged £10 every week even if I did not work in that week?

A. Yes, the £10 is weekly administrative fee at all times unless you are going for Holiday. The system will charge you only 2 weeks into your Holiday period and will start again when you come back.

Q. Is there any booking fee charges?

A. Yes, all airport bookings have £1 -2 bookings fee. Jobs up-to £100 may have £5 booking fee or more

Q. What is the General commission charge per job?

A. Jobs are charged between 13% - 20% commission after deducting booking, admin and car park fee wherever applicable. This depends on what commission you choose during registration

Q. When do I pay my commission?

A. Your commission is required to be paid once you get your weekly statement every Mondays

Q. When do I get paid for account jobs?

A. Account jobs are paid in full weekly if we owe you money. Your statement will show all jobs in that week and the deductions of both accounts and cash jobs commissions.

Q. Are the statements exactly every week?

A. Yes, this is based on weekly cut off days. Every new week starts with job pick up times from 00.00 on a Monday and cuts off on the last jobs with pick up time at 23.59 on Sundays

 About the Jobs

Q. What types of jobs are available on this App?

A. You will receive Airport and Hotel Jobs Only from this App. Distance and As Directed (AD) jobs are also available most times. We have local minicab jobs from our Wembley base.

Q. Do you have executive work as well?

A. Yes we do. Available on Airport Platforms only.

Q. How can I receive jobs on my App?

A. There are 2 ways you can receive jobs.  (1)  From bidding platform.  This is when you view and dispatch jobs to yourself via bidding. (2) Auto despatch mechanism. This is when system dispatches jobs by finding very suitable driver for a particular job based on so many parameters.

Q. Can I reject jobs anytime?

A. Yes you can, but system may consider you as unserious driver after several rejections being registered against you and may start considering you among last option drivers to receive jobs.

Q. Can I cancel any job after accepting it?

A. Yes, you can cancel jobs after acceptance it but may attract a penalty charge depending on the reason and time of cancellation

About Dress Codes

Q. Can I work with Jeans and T shirts?

A.  Yes, You can but make sure it is always clean and tidy.

Q. Can I wear suits and ties?

A. Yes, it is preferable to dress smartly as all our passengers are very responsible travellers and would definitely treat you with respect if they find you more professional than the other Minicab Cowboys. Please expect more Tips and high return booking demand from our passengers if you continue to dress smartly.
